Let ‘Em Sleep: 10 Perfect Spots to Park for Naps

You know what they say... never wake a sleeping baby. If your tot is notorious for napping while cruising in the car seat, read on for 10 perfect places to park and pass the time.

Let’s face it, as parents, we spend a lot of time in the car driving here and there. And it’s inevitable that at some point our little sidekicks will fall asleep while doing so. Instead of circling the block a million times or sitting in the grocery store parking lot, read on for our list of 10 awesome places (with seriously fantastic views!) to park while your tot catches some zzzz’s.

Alki Beach Park

You can’t go wrong parking anywhere along the Alki Trail. If you’re looking for views of the Seattle skyline, you'll find them here. And if you’re looking for views of Puget Sound with the Olympics as a backdrop, you'll find them here, too! Since this popular stretch of beach is also an ideal people-watching spot, the hardest part may be finding a spot to park. Be patient and follow the road along the beach. You’re sure to find the perfect place to park and nap somewhere between the Alki Boat Launch and the Alki Bathhouse.
