Sticking Its Neck Out

The world of making cute tees for tots can be cutthroat. There’s always some newfangled design on the block, making last year’s ‘Ramones’ tee obsolete. Luckily, locally based Turtle Papers honed its wonderful, vintage-looking designs first through its greeting card, stationery and invitation lines before jumping into baby gear production.

Practice makes perfect, after all. Launched this January, Turtle Papers’ baby gear collection is the brainchild of graphic designer Jennifer Wong Tam. We love the onesies and tees emblazoned with fresh artwork and words like ‘I’m kissable’ or ‘I’m fearless.’ Buy them now, while they’re hot, as you never know when the fickle trend tides will change again. However, we can bet that Turtle Papers will keep up–don’t they say slow and steady wins the race?
