There’s nothing quite like the rush of cool wind through the hair and warmth of the sun on your face. Pretty soon, your kiddo reaches higher and higher toward the sky and they feel like you’re flying! If your kiddo wants nothing more than an afternoon playing on the swings at the park, then take them outside for some fresh air and fun. Briercrest Park

Find yourselves at this gem nestled in the middle of La Mesa and you're sure to awaken your kids’ creativity. This small beauty of a park is a treat for the senses. Besides the swings, you’ll find a plethora of innovative play opportunities. Kids can pound on a giant outdoor xylophone and other musical instruments, check out beautiful mosaics and explore the dry creek bed. Enjoy smelling the herbs in the sensory garden together. Big kids will love the challenge of climbing up a rock wall, then jumping down to the thick, bouncy rubber matting. Moms will appreciate the super clean bathrooms.
