Every few days I use glycolic acid in lieu of Thayer’s, but I get compliments on my skin all the time. I wish I had known to take care of my skin in my early 20s, but late is better than never. Mostly what I love about this toner is that it is not drying. I already have dry skin and have lived in dry climates most my life so it is not harsh. It is also alcohol free which is awesome. I’ve tried all the scents through the years, the rose petal one is the best in my opinion, but they’re all great and the scented ones don’t seem to irritate my skin (also have pretty sensitive skin). They wash up nicely and don’t look like a wrinkled wadded mess out of the dryer. They stay put securely under the corners. Only one small downside is the trimmed/hemmed edge of the top sheet and the pillow cases has just a simple stitch - not a wide decorative hem or any trim. My daughter choses CeraVe cream exclusively, rather than any other moisturizer for her eczema (and believe me, she's tried them all). Both of our dermatologists say it's the best, too. It's neither sticky nor greasy, and feels great on the skin - so is perfect for use after bathing. Because it has no scent, it doesn't trigger allergy/sensitivity, it won't compete if you use perfume, and it won't impart an awful taste if it's on your hands when you're preparing food. But even after you wash your hands it seems to keep on working - in fact I need reapply it only if I'm doing a lot of washing or if the weather is unusually dry. I use it on my hands every night at bedtime, only occasionally need more during the day, and get fewer hangnails. I'd use this on my face if I needed a lot of moisturizing. I'm a wiry kind of guy with tight muscles, and this was one of the most helpful tools when it came to myofascial release. I tend to get achy shoulders, and need the pressure under my wing, which is easy to reach using the straight or curved knobs. It also worked great to unlock my lower hips and back after I sprained them. It does take some learning and getting used to, you have to just play with it and figure out what positions work. Funny enough I don't even need to use it much anymore because it helped moved my seized-up muscles back into place. When I came across these on Amazon I knew I had to give it a try. They are totally blacked out which makes it strange when your eyes are open while wearing the mask. You can blink and there is no pressure on your lashes whatsoever. I am a stomach sleeper so my face is mostly down in my pillow, no issue at all. It’s heavy, but that’s why you get wheels. I bought the dry tray and steel locking insert (pictured). I keep it chained to a tree if in view—these are popular with the unscrupulous. Kept in the shade and not excessively opening the lid, it kept food cold for three full days and was still going. We use it to Overland off the grid. If you use it for beverages with lots of repeated access, common sense will let you know to cut the time in half that it stays cold. Likewise if you leave in the sun. This is certified and tested as grizzly bear proof—say no more. That means they put two small padlocks on the corners, filled it with good smelling stuff, and gave it to grizzlies to play with. Real 5-Star Review: "I have extremely sensitive skin, and when I am not taking care of my skin, it shows. I started using these over a year ago, and about 2 months ago I ran out. I did not order any until last week, and I tell you what - I can absolutely tell the difference between using these and a regular washcloth or towel. Mind you, I try not to scrub my face with either type of towel (I try to only pat dry as needed after washing) but at the end of the day I need to get my face clean whether I wash it properly or not. These are AMAZING. They are great if you only need to pat dry, and they are even better when you need to wet them down and wipe your face clean. They are soft and absorbent, not flimsy at all, and I can even wipe my face, rinse the towel, and wipe my face again without it breaking down. They suggest using them to wipe down your countertops after using before you throw them away, and I very often do this before tossing. I will also say, I am not a huge fan of disposable products - especially when there are easy reusable alternatives, but unfortunately for me this is one time that I allow myself to purchase disposable. The difference they make for me is absolutely worth it. They are also great to travel with - I stashed a few in a ziplock bag and take with me anytime I travel. I wholeheartedly recommend.
