Drew Barrymore may be a mega-star, but to her kids, Olive and Frankie, she’s just Mom. And this mom-ness is more apparent than ever in Drew’s recent Instagram posts, where the actress shares the contents of the adorable lunches she packs for Olive to take with her to camp. The bento box lunchbox is colorfully filled with carrot sticks, strawberries, cucumbers, pretzel sticks and what looks to be… salami? Beside it all is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, cut into a heart shape. (We guess she smushed that in afterward.) Another post shows a spread filled with quesadilla triangles, chunky guacamole and an assortment of veggies, adding that she got the menu from the book, 100 Days of Real Food. She even packs little notes, scribbled onto heart-shaped pieces of paper or (as on the banana below) directly onto the food itself. It’s no easy feat packing nutritious meals for school or camp-bound kiddos — and you knocked it out of the park, Drew. Way to go! Do you have any good tips for summer lunchboxes?
