In addition to raking in candy, you can help others and do good this Halloween. Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is back. (Goody gumdrops!) And this time, the historic campaign — which raises money for children in need — has gone digital, so you can raise money online, in addition to door-to-door with their iconic orange boxes. Watch your kiddos bubble in excitement as they watch their fundraising numbers grow in real time on the computer.

How It Works
This is a chance to teach the spirit of giving to your kids. Just set up your own fundraising page through trickortreatforunicef.org and email people you’d like to ask to donate, right from the site. Donations are tax deductible and can be done online, and you can track your progress. A quick way to get the word out about your fundraising page is by including it in your Halloween party invitations!

There’s even an option for schools to engage in a huge team working effort through the UNICEF School Challenge. Winners will bring their school $1,000 of technology grants — how many tots do you know whom you can thank for new school computers?

Whether you want to get collaborative or go the old-school route, Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is a great add-on to any of your kiddo’s spooky festivities. A whopping 91% of each dollar goes directly to these kiddos, and just $1 can provide 40 days of clean water. Find out more information from trickortreatforunicef.org.
