Girls’ trip to Sicily? Sign us up

Whether you eagerly awaited every episode of the hit HBO show The White Lotus in real-time or you binged the whole thing over the winter break, chances are you were awestruck by the scenic locations featured in the most recent season set in Italy. In episode three, Harper (played by Aubrey Plaza) and Daphne (played by Meghann Fahy) went on an impromptu girls’ trip to a gorgeous villa in the Sicilian town of Noto. In actuality, this villa (known as Villa Tasca) is located in the town of Palermo, and it is available to rent on Airbnb.

Head up the double staircase to enter the majestic property, where the opulence will straight-up overwhelm you (in a good way). High ceilings and antique area rugs over polished stone floors will lead you to the sitting room, where you can admire the breathtaking gilded artwork adorning the walls for as long as you please. In doing so, you’ll instantly forget your to-do list and finally embrace your Italian heiress persona.

Settle in for a serenade in the music room or head down to the billiard room for entertainment of a different sort.

The property has four bedrooms—one has a king bed; the other three, queens. Each bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, and a lounge area or sitting room.

Dating back to the 1500s, the estate sits on 20 lush acres filled with citrus groves, towering trees, and even swans paddling their way through the pond. There’s an unheated swimming pool if you’d like to take a dip.

When you are ready to explore, Villa Tasca is a 10-minute drive to the Cappella Palatina and the surrounding Palazzo dei Normanni. Grab some cacio e pepe at a trattoria in the Monreale port before visiting the intriguing Catacombe dei Cappuccini. If the kids are lucky enough to join you on this excursion, there’s even a family-friendly waterpark nearby.
