Does your mini Master Builder like to imagine what it would be like to move like a Ninjago or wield a lightsaber like Luke Skywalker? While you can’t shrink down to LEGO size, you can now put your face on your favorite block people with customized LEGO minifigures.
UK company Funky3DFaces can put your face on top of a little LEGO person. Using a digital software program, they will map out your face from an image you provide. You can then select a hairstyle from several preset choices. Finally, they will create a 3D printed head. You can select a LEGO body to match or you can simply use the head on any minifigs you already have in your collection.
Each head is priced at $33.17, but they are currently running a holiday special and you can get one free when you buy two, if you want to turn the entire family into LEGO figures. It takes up to two weeks to manufacture the heads and 5-8 days to ship to the US, so keep that in mind if you’re hoping to put a few custom LEGOs under the Christmas tree this year.
