We don’t all have the time and energy to make show-stopping holiday desserts every year, but when we see someone who has gone above and beyond the typical cookies and pies, we have to give them props. We love these 10 festive desserts that capture some of the best parts of the holiday season. We might not necessarily attempt all of them ourselves, but hey, that doesn’t mean we can’t feast our eyes on them!

Snowman Cupcakes
These little snowmen are sure to warm your heart, even if there’s not enough snow on the ground for you to make a real one. The kiddos will love helping decorate them too, from sprinkling the coconut to adding the all-important finishing touches (a carrot nose, some button eyes, or maybe a stocking cap–the sky’s the limit!).

Chocolate Covered Strawberries
These may look like innocuous Christmas lights on the outside, but in reality, they’re everyone’s favorite, most indulgent dessert: chocolate covered strawberries. All that’s needed to make some of your own is a bit of strategic chopping and a quick dip in some chocolate and sprinkles.

Christmas Tree Cones
These little trees aren’t too difficult to make, and they’re a great way to let your little one’s imagination shine. Candies and licorice top off a frosting-covered sugar cone for a delicious holiday decoration.

Santa Hat Pretzels
We’ve never seen pretzels quite like this before! These Santa hats are beyond adorable, and put a fresh new twist on classic chocolate-covered pretzels.

Christmas Trees with Chocolate Orange Cream
Here’s another take on the classic Christmas tree, with a chocolate and candy-covered ice cream cone atop a chocolate orange mousse. We love this creation since it’s both gourmet and cute!

Reindeer Pops
If your little ones are fans of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, this treat is the perfect way to get them into the holiday spirit. Just dip marshmallows in melted chocolate and decorate Santa’s whole crew.

Edible Fruit Tree
Here’s a Christmas tree unlike any we’ve seen before. Colorful fruits become the base for a festive and healthy tree, and a star cut out of melon tops it all off.

Snowman on a Stick
Here’s another wintry treat using a few donuts and some candy. You won’t be toiling all day in the kitchen to make these little guys, but your guests will definitely be impressed.

Krispie Treat Christmas Tree
Every kiddo we know loves rice krispie treats, so why not make them into a fun and eye-catching holiday dessert? Just stack the treats to make a super unique Christmas tree.

Melting Snowman Cookies
Here’s one last twist on the snowman dessert, this time showing the inevitable fate of poor Frosty. Make sure the kids have a sense of humor before attempting this one!
