Throw in a couple of kites and you’ve got the makings for a perfect day. Piedmont Park – Atlanta, Ga

Piedmont park has wide open spaces perfect for flying kites and the very best spot is The Meadow. Near Park Tavern (score!) and parking, it’s a perfect location for tiny, hungry fliers. The park is also home to the Atlanta World Kite Festival each year.
