There are Bridgerton fans, and then there are Bridgerton superfans. Fifteen-year-old Miley counts herself among the latter, so much so that she is theming her upcoming Quinceañera around the show––and it all starts with the dress.
To find the perfect regency-era style, Miley, her mom and sister turned to dressmakers at Moda 2000, in Anaheim, Ca. Like most viewers, Miley can’t get enough of Shondaland’s show and its attention to detail when it comes to colors, florals and architecture and wants to capture the vibe for her Quince dress. Gipsy and Gina at Moda 2000 did not disappoint!
The cream dress could easily make a cameo on the show, with its lacey bodice and flowy skirt. “You look like a princess!” says sister Vanessa. Tears abound as Miley, her mom and sister take in all the beautiful details, from the floral bust to the glitter tulle.
But everyone knows you can’t attend a ball without a cape and Miley gets one of those too! Gipsy brings out a gorgeous red satin cape, complete with hood. “I feel like a queen,” says Miley.
To get into full Bridgerton mode, Miley headed to the “Queen’s Ball,” an immersive experience at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. There, she was able to take her official Quinceañera photos, complete with hair and makeup.
“It’s amazing. How did I get here?..I feel like I’m in Bridgerton.” The teen was able to take some of the most stunning Quince portraits we’ve ever seen that include photos among a checkered dance floor with a throne in the back, family photos and of course, several images wearing that luscious red cape.
“The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience” has just opened in Los Angeles, and there are still plenty of tickets available. Starting at $49 for guests 18 and older (we’re guessing Miley got special permission for those gorgeous photos), you can immerse yourself amid Bridgerton music, interact with costumed actors and much more.
