Have a Campfire Cookout: Emily Oaks Nature Center

Krazy Kabob or Coffee Can Cake, anyone? It’s time to get creative and culinary with this fun outdoor activity. Get immersed in a resourceful cooking experience with a three-course lunch prepared over a campfire. You and your kiddos will learn to use a variety of cooking techniques. All food and equipment is provided. Children must be accompanied by a parent.

Held on May 24, 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Admission is $10/non-residents and $8/residents. Emily Oaks Nature Center, 4650 Brummel St., Skokie (847-677-7001 or skokieparks.org).
