Chrissy Teigen is a mom of four, she announced in a heartfelt social media message to the surrogate who carried her new son
Chrissy Teigen has welcomed her fourth child, a boy named Wren Alexander. She announced the big news on Instagram, where she wrote a heartfelt message to the surrogate, Alexandra, who carried the baby.
“For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted four children,” she wrote, revealing that she and her husband, John Legend, started exploring surrogacy after she had a miscarriage in 2020. While Teigen did become pregnant again last year, she also explained that at the same time, she and Legend met their “perfect match” surrogate, a woman named Alexandra.
“All our wishes and dreams aligned,” Teigen wrote. “I wanted to be her friend, I wanted our children to play, I wanted dinner together, I wanted to lay my head on her belly and be able to feel the hiccups and kicks. I wanted them to be in our lives for as long as time would allow.”
After a failed embryo transfer, Teigen wrote that she and Legend were “overjoyed to learn Alexandra had become pregnant with a little boy” at the same time Teigen was pregnant with their daughter, Esti.
“We ate hot pot to celebrate, watched Vanderpump Rules with our growing bellies, our families blending into one for the past year,” Teigen wrote.
Now, just five months after Esti arrived, Teigen announced that her son, Wren, is also here.
Teigen shared some of the first photos of Wren in her Instagram post, at the end of the carousel, and the comments were flooded with congratulations for the new family of four.
“What an amazing gift that someone can give you, congratulations 💙,” a fan wrote. Fellow new mom Paris Hilton commented, “Congratulations love, I am so happy for you!!🥰”
