We’re all doing our best. In our work, in our families, and in our kitchens. Black Bunny Bakery knows that your time is precious, and you can’t waste it on disappointing cookies and recipes that don’t work. With reliable recipes, fun demonstration videos, and informative classes, Black Bunny Bakery now offers everything you need to celebrate and create real food at home. Our interactive virtual classes are the perfect way to get in the kitchen and create something special with the whole family. Oh, and we’ve still got you covered if you just want to buy some treats.

Black Bunny Bakery was launched as a farmers market booth in 2018 by Chef Carolyn Crow. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Carolyn continued her studies of real food and classic pastry techniques at the famed Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California, and advanced her chocolate skills at the Valrhona École de Grand Chocolat in France. After 10 years as a pastry chef and chocolatier for restaurants and boutiques in the DC area, Carolyn now most enjoys sharing her passion for real food with others in cooking classes and events.

National Presbyterian School is committed to safeguarding the all-important decade of childhood – the years from Age 3 to Sixth Grade. The goal of an NPS education is to form students who are confident, skilled, curious, and compassionate, with a strong sense of identity rooted in the school’s Core Values of love, respect, honesty, responsibility, and safety. As an elementary-only school, we celebrate these fleeting and foundational years, and we are experts in serving the intellectual, spiritual, and ethical formation of children.

We believe that children learn best when they know that they are loved. Therefore we teach not only solid academic skills, but how to apply these skills as the students explore, question, and think about the ever-evolving world they will inherit. By presenting this challenging program in a nurturing school community, we give children the foundations that will enable them to be successful learners and good people.

We invite you to come and visit – we host two Open Houses, one in October and one in December, and also offer regularly schedule small group and individual visits as well as opportunities to attend community events. We would love to meet you!
