Halloween Trees Are the New Hotness & It’s Actually Pretty Clever

Forget about waiting for the snow to fall and Santa to slide down the chimney… Now you can decorate your Christmas tree for Halloween. Oh yes, this is totally a thing and we’re pretty sure you’re going to enjoy the new festiveness that it brings!

Halloween trees are taking the social media-verse by storm. Plenty of people are posting their spooky sweet pics of good ol’ Christmas trees adorned with Halloween boo-ty.

So why are the holiday-happy decorating their trees with a scary Halloween style? One Twitter user posted, “Wife’s ingenious response after told it was too early to put up Christmas tree.” And yes, it was. That is, a totally ingenious response.

But, of course, this certainly isn’t where the Halloween tree posts end. This totally un-Christmas Christmas/Halloween tree, pictured on Instagram, is spook-tacular:

Oh, but that’s not all. This tree takes an iconic Halloween treat up a notch. Yep, we’re talking about candy corn. And this lux tree features some the candy’s brightest colors.

Not every Halloween tree is as bug and bushy as the traditional Christmas variety. This one looks more like the Charlie Brown type:

So how can you get in on the decorating action? All you need is a tree and a little creativity! Um, and maybe some spooky supplies too. And bonus, you can reuse the tree for Christmas, too!
