WinterFest – Blowing Rock, N.C. – Jan. 25-28, 2018

The warmer climes of North Carolina might seem an unlikely spot for a winter festival, but even without mounds of the fluffy white stuff, this town knows how to make the most of the winter months. Families can take the Polar Plunge at Chetola together to get the party started and then check out the impressive ice sculptures local artists create using chainsaws and other unlikely tools. There are also kid’s activities and a WinterPaws Dog Show (for your furriest family member) to participate in.
