Holiday Magic at Birch Aquarium

The magic of the holidays meets the magic of the underwater world at Birch Aquarium during Seas ‘n’ Greetings, a month-long holiday celebration featuring SEAsonal activities for the whole family. From Dec. 1 to 31, Birch Aquarium is transformed into a winter wonderland. Deck the Hall (of Fishes) and get into the holiday spirit every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy fun, festive photo opportunities, plus holiday music, an interactive scavenger hunt and holiday card-worthy ocean views!

All holiday activities are included in admission, which is $24.95 for adults, $19.95 for children ages 3 to 17. Children 2 and under are free. Annual memberships are also available and make great holiday gifts. Elf on a Shelf Magical Journey

The Elf on the Shelf’s Magical Holiday Journey is coming to Choctaw Stadium in Arlington (formerly Globe Life Park) with a one-of-a-kind, open-air experience to spread a Texas-sized serving of Christmas cheer! PetSpace Kids Winter Camp Online

Winter fun should include adorable pets and fascinating critters! Wallis Annenberg PetSpace is offering a special online edition of PetSpace Kids Camp this winter. The three-day experience is designed for children ages 8-11 and offers an engaging exploration of the human-animal bond. Campers will learn all about pet adoption, veterinary care, animal behavior, and much more, all from the comfort of a virtual experience at home.

Between December 20 and 22, campers can discover training techniques and receive a behind-the-scenes tour of our Health Center, where adoptable animals receive care before finding their forever homes. Kids will go crazy for Critter Corner, an area featuring small companion animals that gives an inside look at how potential adoptable pets can include snakes, turtles, birds, and rabbits. Finally, no camp session is complete without the opportunity to witness a mutt makeover in the Groom Room, followed by a virtual photo session. Each camper also receives a camper packet, including t-shirt, crafts, and more.
