Welcome to Roycemore’s Summer 2022 Camps!

We are honored to have you as part of our community, and we are excited to continue building on the tradition of outstanding summer programs at Roycemore that goes all the way back to 1975. This brochure provides all the information you need to become a part of this summer. Whether you want to explore Evanston and Chicago, take a deep dive into college-level subjects, or throw yourself into new experiences from cooking to sailing, we are excited to offer students a range of fun, transformative, and educational opportunities from junior kindergarten to senior year. Our expert teaching faculty, the quality of our facilities, and our tight-knit community define us. We are proud to lead a diverse and talented team with extensive knowledge and decades of combined experience. We are also committed to creating and nurturing a safe environment. This year’s programs have all been designed with the flexibility and adaptability demanded during these uncertain times. Calling campers of all ages and skill levels to join the Got Game Camp, operating in Mid-City, West LA and San Fernando Valley! Enjoy fun, action-packed weeks full of sports, arts, sciences, games, imaginative projects, and the hottest trends among kids. Got Game offers a program unlike any other, allowing campers different options throughout the day to have a blast playing with their friends and exploring different interests. Campers have the chance to let loose and have fun in age-appropriate cohorts and activities.

Got Game’s motto is “We Speak Kid,” and the coaches have endless enthusiasm and an innate ability to keep campers engaged through a fun and competitive spirit. Coaches make sure each day is new and exciting, and campers come back wanting more. All programs are Covid-safe, and Got Game has a resident medical doctor, Dr. Damon Raskin, on its team to oversee best practices for health and safety protocols.

Have an AWESOME summer at MJCC Day Camp! Health + safety is our top priority. Through socialization, arts and crafts, sports, games, and imaginative play, we encourage growth, inspire confidence, and provide the framework for lasting memories and friendships. Aviator Sports Summer Day Camp offers five daily rotating activities such as swimming (up to 4 times a week), ice skating, gymnastics, rock climbing, parkour, indoor and outdoor turf activities, arts & crafts, and more in our ample 175,000 sq. ft. facility and 35-acre outdoor area. Aviator Summer Camp also offers off-site and on-site field trips such as a day at Green Meadows Farm (on Aviator Sports property!) Carnival Day, Launch Trampoline Park, a Brooklyn Cyclones game. The summer camp runs from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with early drop off and late stay available. Bus transportation is also available. Lunch and an afternoon snack are included.

Lillstreet Art Center offers a wide variety of summer camps for children and teens ages 3-16 in multimedia and specialized art forms including pottery, movie making, photography, sewing, jewelry, comics, painting and more. Each day, campers add to the lively Lillstreet community, working and learning alongside professional artists. We celebrate each camper’s individuality and unique voice—our instructors foster a relaxed and non-competitive environment in the classroom, and everyone has lots of fun! At the end of each week, parents and guardians are invited to an end-of-camp art show, featuring all of our campers’ hard work. Join us for a Summer at Concord Hill School! It will be full of fun, curiosity, and adventure. Our camps are designed to bring out the wonder and excitement of childhood, while also incorporating important academic and social emotional elements that will help young learners make the most of their summer. With a specific focus on Early Learning at Concord Hill, campers will be supported by experienced and knowledgable faculty who specialize in the early years of development. We are offereing a wide array of sessions fociusing on everything from dinosaurs and paleontology to servicce learning and many fun things in between. Summer@CHS runs from July 11- August 5

At Bennett Day Camp, we provide an enriching atmosphere that enables our campers to develop self-identity, leadership skills, and a lifelong sense of adventure. Our campers and counselors will participate in field trips, team sports, music, arts, scientific discovery, and water play in a collaborative culture.

Health & Safety

Camper Input
Each morning, campers will participate in art, movement, and STEM activities based on the theme of the week. In the afternoon, campers get to “choose their own adventure” with afternoon choices. Options include, but aren’t limited to, drone racing, sewing and textiles, claymation, digital photography, slime time, coding, mechanical engineering, basketball, soccer, flag football, and more!

Field Trips/Water Wednesdays
We believe the city is our playground! Each week we will go on age-appropriate field trips that expose campers to cool architecture, local neighborhoods, and different cultures. On Water Wednesdays, campers will get to play on-site in our water field.

Kids in Chicago don’t have to run away, to join the circus! Summer Camp at CircEsteem is a fun, safe, supportive environment where children explore the many skills that create the Circus Arts. Our programming allows each child to develop self confidence, self-esteem, physical awareness and an understanding of the potential they possess. Skills taught include but are not limited to: Trapeze, Aerial Silks, German Wheel, Acrobatics, Mini-trampoline, Clowning, Juggling, Stilt Walking, Tightwire, Rola Bola and more!

Students enrolled will get to share their excitement and newly built skills with family and friends at the end of the session in a Show Off performance!

In the Summer of 2022, CircEsteem is offering extended 2-week long sessions in addition to our standard week-long sessions of Summer Camp. Every session will be open to youth of all experience levels and both types will feature all of the same high quality Social Circus instruction.

Financial Aid is available for those families who qualify, based on household size and family income. We encourage anyone to apply to asses their eligibility; CircEsteem reserves 40% of space in our Summer Camp for families receiving Financial Aid.

Registration for Summer at Galloway is now open! All Summer at Galloway programs are 100% refundable through May 1, 2022; plan your child’s summer now with the peace of mind to make changes later if needed. Camp Galloway is our signature series of day camps for students in Pre-K3 through 2nd grade. This year we are excited to announce eight unplugged and unparalleled weeks of camp! Discover a new theme each week, each incorporating hands-on games, art-making, indoor/outdoor play, and theme-immersed activities. Camp meets from 9 AM – 3 PM. Families can drop off as early as 8:30 AM for no additional fee; post-camp care will also be available from 3 PM – 5 PM. STEAMcation is made up of 50 half-day programs for students in rising 3rd grade – rising 7th grade. Programs allow students to sample science, technology, engineering, math, and the arts. For students staying the full day, a supervised lunch break is provided. We are also delighted to offer an athletic program nearly every week this year! Options include basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, golf, and Sport Skillz.

Registration begins March 2 for summer camps at Lincoln Park Zoo!

Children in grades PreK-4 can sign up for Summer Conservation Camp, where campers will join zoo educators and adventure through the amazing world of animals, exploring one of five themes each week designed to inspire a love of wildlife and curiosity about the natural world. Cost is $400 per camper/per week for non-members, $340 for zoo members. Scholarships available.

Children in grades 5-8 can sign up for Summer Zoo Crew, a two-week summer experience! Through team-building and immersive learning, campers will explore the relationships between animals, humans, and ecosystems. They will meet zoo scientists and zookeepers, go on field trips, sleep over at the zoo, and ultimately develop a project to raise awareness about a conservation issue that is important to them. Cost is $900 per camper/per two-week camp for non-members, $765 for zoo members. Scholarships available.

All summer camps are held 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily from June 20 – August 26. In order to provide a safe space not only for our staff and guests, but the animals in our care, all eligible campers are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 before attending.
