Music Theatre Summer Camp for Ages 4-17

Calling all Broadway-loving singers, dancers, and writers! Join Porchlight Music Theatre- Chicago’s home for music theatre – and learn from the experts all about music, drama, dance, writing, and more while practicing teamwork, communication, and self-confidence. Porchlight Summer Camps are safe and masked and all Teaching Artists are completely vaccinated. Camp ends in an original final performance for family and friends on the last day.

For the first time this summer, actors aged 4-6 are invited to join us for a week of Mini Musicals to introduce music theatre skills. Other camp options are two weeks of Broadway Basics (ages 7-10) or Music Theatre Bootcamp (ages 11-13), or our three week Advanced Music Theatre Performance (ages 14-17). Camps build on skills for each individual actor, so whether you’re joining us for the first time or returning to the same camp as last year, it’s sure to be a perfect fit! Creativity & Culture Collides

Wing Luke Museum’s in-person summer camps are back in July and August with three different themed camps for creative explorers ages 6 to 12. Little Kitchen Academy

Little Kitchen Academy is the key ingredient for an independent child! We are the first-of-its-kind Montessori-inspired cooking academy for kids ages 3 through teen focused on providing a safe, inspiring, and empowering space for children to identify, develop, and refine their senses. In each class, students learn how to make healthy, delicious meals from scratch to consumption — all while experimenting with math and science concepts, working on their reading skills, and polishing up their table manners.

Sessions of three-hour classes are organized by age group for up to 10 students per session (ages 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, and 13+ years old), and are overseen by three instructors per class. The curriculum focuses on seasonal, locally grown, and organic produce and ingredients, and students enjoy the fruits of their labor for a “scratch to consumption” experience.

Sleepaway Camps & Conservatories rehearse plays outdoors in small supportive groups of only 13 performers. Acting training by professional artist & educators that culminate in a professionally designed final performance in Tysons. Residential programs emphasize a meaningful engagement with nature. Every week features a campout – when performers learn Leave No Trace camping techniques, to pitch tents and cook outdoors. (Leesburg; grades 4-12; by-audition.)

Summer Camp at KoKoNYC

KoKoNYC is an art-based science and engineering program for kids. In our week-long summer workshops we challenge kids to think like inventors and empower them to see value in their creative ideas by facilitating the exploration of their curiosity through hands-on projects. LEGO Based S.T.E.A.M Summer Camp
