Traveling Players: Drama Camps & Classes

“Little-known summer gem” – the Washington Post.  Now in our 20th summer! Traveling Players trains young actors (grades 3-12) in classical theatre with plays by Shakespeare, Moliere, & Gozzi and based on Greek Mythology.

  • Day Camps expand imaginations, confidence and performance skills while sparking new friendships. Perfect for campers looking to try acting for the first time or as an add-on to the sleepaway summer experience!  (Tysons Corner Center, grades 3-6, Spring Break & Summer)
  • Sleepaway Camps & Conservatories rehearse plays outdoors in small supportive groups of only 13 performers. Acting training by professional artist & educators that culminate in a professionally designed final performance in Tysons. Residential programs emphasize a meaningful engagement with nature. Every week features a campout – when performers learn Leave No Trace camping techniques, to pitch tents and cook outdoors.  (Leesburg; grades 4-12; by-audition.)
  • Year-round in our Tysons Studio: Acting classes, performances.
