Jennifer Garner revealed a totally relatable “mom fail” during a March 8 appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, along with Greg Kinnear, whose kids go to school with Garner’s. The 49-year-old actress—who shares children Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, with ex-husband Ben Affleck—hit “Reply All” to every parent on the team, including Kinnear and his wife, Helen.
She wrote “Well, this one seems to be getting a little womped this weekend, so what does that mean for tomorrow morning because we have something planned? What does that mean typically?” In retelling the story, Garner said “I was being funny. I thought I was being funny.”
Of course, the universe usually likes to correct us when we get too funny, and it appears it did the same to Garner. She said she was mortified after realizing she’d sent the email to everyone in the group, instead of just the coach. “Turns out it’s the one time in my life I replied to all,” Garner added.

Kinnear, who has three daughters, recalled the incident, saying “I do remember this. I remember thinking, ‘Jennifer Garner is a raging lunatic.’ Sweet enough, but I had no idea.” Garner asked “But did it come off as cute and funny and like, I’m super chill?”
To which Kinnear replied “No.”
