Khloé Kardashian is no stranger to scrutiny, but when trolls criticized her for holding her 3-year-old daughter True at The Kardashians premier, she wasn’t having it. “Worry about your own children. We good over here,” she tweeted, and the comments turned positive in a hurry. Seems like moms everywhere have Khloe’s back on this one—not surprisingly, since being a mom can feel like an invitation to the universe to give us advice.

“For the people who comment that I hold True too much … No. 1 I’m gonna hold my baby until I can’t hold her anymore,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum, 37, tweeted on Friday, April 8. “No. 2 when there’s tons of cameras around, flashing lights, peps [sic] yelling things, I want my baby to feel safe.”

US Weekly reported that the Los Angeles native held True in a few event photos but also let her down and held her hand. “My baby is so cute with her posing,” the Strong Looks Better Naked author tweeted alongside pictures of True with her hand on her hip. “She’s too much for me.” In another post earlier this year, she wrote “where did this pose come from lol.” (Surely she was being ironic.)

True is Kardashian’s first child with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, who began dating Kardashian in September 2016 while his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig was pregnant with his first child, a son named Prince who was born just four months before True’s arrival. Two days prior to True’s birth, Thompson was caught cheating on Kardashian with multiple women. The couple reconciled, but ultimately called it quits in February 2019 when Thompson cheated with Kylie Jenner’s ex-bestie Jordyn Woods.

The Revenge Body cohost is clearly a strong woman, so it’s no surprise that she’s gone to bat against social media mom-shamers over the years, writing via Instagram in 2018 that a “happy mommy makes for a happy baby.” The former E! personality continued “Women who choose to take their time after baby, I’m so proud of you! Women who choose to work out after baby, I’m so proud of you! We all must do what’s best for US! Please be kind to yourself!”

The critics didn’t seem to dampen Kardashian’s excitement over the premier of The Kardashians on Hulu. She posed casually with True in Instagram snaps, captioning it “So excited for the premiere of @kardashianshulu April 14th on Hulu.”
