A new app is taking the stress out of choosing a name and all you have to do is swipe right. Yes, Kinder is Tinder for baby names. The baby name app features an expansive database with a wide variety of names from different languages and cultures. When you get started you can select a specific gender and enter your last name, because of course you want the whole name to have the right ring to it. Then you just start swiping. Left for “nah,” and right for “sounds good,” just like Tinder. You and your spouse can both download the app and be connected as you separately scan the names and make your own picks. You’ll receive a notification when you both swipe right on the same name and the app will create a list of those matches. Like Tinder, you may not find your perfect match, but it’s a great way to quickly sort through the ones you definitely don’t like without having to read through endless lists and baby name books. The app is free to download on iOS and Android. —Shahrzad Warkentin Featured photo: Paul Hanaoka via Unsplash RELATED STORIES: These Are the Most Searched for Baby Names So Far This Year The Newest Trend in Baby Names Could Be the Most Original Yet “Sadie,” “Finn” & 38 More Trending Baby Names for 2018
