It’s My Party: Yellow Submarine Party

Finnegan McGrane’s parents incorporated his favorite song into his birthday party theme: Yellow Submarine! The simple, creative invitations were drawn with the help of the birthday boy on plain white paper using crayons (copies were made on a copier machine).

The party itself was held at Paint, Paper, Scissors in Mill Valley. The owners of the venue worked with the hosts to come up with three yellow submarine themed crafts: the felt submarine, a treasure chest and an underwater mural. Aprons were provided to keep everyone looking birthday party-fab.

After the kiddos finished getting their picasso on, they indulged in a homemade cake and brownies and a little song and dance with, what else…The Beatle’s Yellow Submarine on the dvd player.

Kiddos took their art projects home, which made for sweet party party favors.
