Moms are mysterious creatures who even with all their commitments to careers, their communities and outside passions, manage to shape little beings into pretty cool folks. While we think all moms are amazing, we’ve chosen a very special group of our fave LA power moms who are not only holding down the fort at home, but are also creating, inventing, inspiring, innovating and pursuing their dreams in a wide variety of fields. Christie Kidd Roberts, Dermatologist to the Stars

As one of Beverly Hills most sought after dermatologists, Christie Kidd Roberts has dedicated her career to helping patients achieve the most beautiful skin possible. Actress Diane Keaton as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner are among her loyal clientele and it’s no wonder. With Roberts’s impressive experience and infectiously bubbly personality, this mom is the type of doctor you’d trust implicitly and also want to grab a glass of wine with. But of all Roberts’s accomplishments, she’s most proud of her 4-year-old son, Jason. Roberts says, “My husband and I have so much love to give and so badly wanted to have a child. We tried to have a baby for five years, and had to do IVF 13 times. It was a rough five years of trying to get pregnant – lots of tears. Trying to run my busy practice, see all my patients, and take all those shots, going to the doctor every two days, bed rest, and then to hear, ‘I'm sorry your not pregnant,’ was more than I could handle. But I was never going to give up! I’m so proud of myself for staying strong, healthy and always staying positive. I kept my eye on the prize and never looked back. And then the day arrived when our sweet son was born, and when I held him in my arms for the first time, I knew I made it. Every shot and tear was worth it times a billion! Best and biggest accomplishment in my life.”
