Julie Stromberg, Litigator & Community Activist
If you look up the definition of “hustle” in Webster’s Dictionary, chances are you’ll see a photo of Julie Stromberg next to it. When Stromberg’s not working as a business and environmental litigator, she’s dedicating countless volunteer hours to her community serving as Chairperson for the renovations of a park in her Larchmont neighborhood, working as an elected board member of the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council, serving as the Recording Secretary and board member for the Miracle Mile Democratic Club and is a member of the LA City College Foundation Board, among others. And yes, there are others, but we’d run out of room! Mom to 4-year-old Julien and 8-month-old Leo, Stromberg is always looking for ways to find balance saying, “If you really want to make something happen, you can make it happen. It is really hard to balance work/life, but work is life. You just have to be willing to sacrifice a little bit here for something there to make everything complete. It is really important to have a strong support network and a back-up plan in place in the event of a sudden change of plan. I have to admit that I am still figuring it out. However, I can tell you that the human spirit is incredibly strong and persevering. If you have to do something, you will do it. Just don’t forget about you and what is really important, your family, in the process. “
