Moms are mysterious creatures who even with all their commitments to careers, their communities and outside passions, manage to shape little beings into pretty cool folks. While we think all moms are amazing, we’ve chosen a very special group of our fave LA power moms who are not only holding down the fort at home, but are also creating, inventing, inspiring, innovating and pursuing their dreams in a wide variety of fields. Chriselle Lim, Content Creator for The Chriselle Factor

Crowned 2016 Blogger of the Year for her swoon-worthy fashion site and YouTube Channel, The Chriselle Factor, Chriselle Lim is busier than ever running her style empire and being mom to almost 2-year-old Chloe. A former stylist and fashion director for Genlux magazine, Lim started The Chriselle Factor with hopes of inspiring women through lifestyle, fashion and beauty advice while giving us a personal and relatable peek into her life. Nowadays, whether she’s being asked by Anna Wintour to walk the runway or is interviewing presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (yep, you read that right), Lim cherishes the time she spends with her daughter and hubby most. Her family loves picnicking near their Palos Verdes home, going to the park and discovering sea creatures at the Long Beach Aquarium. Lim says, “It's not easy but I think the key is to be realistic and always be present. I had a really hard time at first with this in the beginning. When I was at work, I would think about Chloe and when I was with Chloe, I would think about work. It’s a never-ending cycle, and the only way to be the most effective is to be present wherever you are.”
