Michael Phelps Welcomes Baby Number 2 During the Olympics!

With all the hoopla going on over the 2018 Winter Olympics, it’s easy to forget about the summer games. Well, it looks like one of the warmer weather gold medalists is making headlines—and not for his athletic prowess. On Monday, Michael Phelps welcomed his second child, Beckett, with his wife Nicole. Yep, that makes two boys for the Olympic swimmer.

Phelps announced the birth of baby boy Beckett on Instagram yesterday, posting, “Magical moments yesterday…Nicole and I would like to introduce Beckett Richard Phelps to the world!” Aww. Phelps also added, “We had a healthy baby boy and a healthy mama. I truly do feel like the happiest man in the world. Being able to build our family to now 4 (6 with doggies) is so incredible!”

The Olympic athlete might have 28 medals—23 of them gold—but it looks like his new family of four (scratch that, six) is what he’s most proud of. But Phelps isn’t the only one who’s super-excited about his growing family.

Obviously, his S.O. is completely crazy about her three guys. Nicole Phelps posted an IG birth announcement of her own, adding the caption, “I’m surrounded by boys and I couldn’t be happier.”
