Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently shared a sweet end of the year video—including an absolutely aww-dorable pic of baby Archie!

Looking back on the past year, 2019 was more than eventful for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Not only did the pair have to adjust to married life under the watchful public eye, but they became parents, too.

The video, which the couple posted on their Sussex Royal Instagram account, is a montage of the past year’s major events—and there were plenty of them to enjoy.

Along with the video, which was set to the music of Coldplay, the couple added their own special message. “Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and thanking you for your continued support! We’ve loved meeting so many of you from around the world and can’t wait to meet many more of you next year.”

The couple continued the caption, wishing their fans and followers, “We hope 2020 brings each of you health and continued happiness.”

While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are spending their holiday in Canada, the royal family’s 2019 Christmas card is getting plenty of attention!

In the days leading up to Christmas, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s e-card popped up just about everywhere on social media. The sweet black and white pic prominently features the couple’s son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor—and he is absolutely adorable.

Even though the card couldn’t be cuter, it’s already become the target of Photoshop claims. In response, Markle’s friend and the photographer behind the pic, Janina Gavankar, re-posted the card on Instagram with the caption, “So proud to have taken the Christmas photo for one of my best friends and her family. Here’s the original that was sent out (cropped to fit IG).”

While some of the e-card recipients did tweet or Instagram the family photo, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex chose not to post their 2019 holiday card on social media. Instead, Markle and Prince Harry sent out warm holiday wishes to their fans via Instagram, with a post reading, “Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.”

New parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t spend Archie’s first Christmas with the rest of the Royals.

Reportedly the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with baby Archie of course, will celebrate the holiday with Markle’s mother—and not with Queen Elizabeth at Sandringham.

According to People.com, Buckingham Palace released a statement saying, “Having spent the last two Christmases at Sandringham, Their Royal Highnesses will spend the holiday this year, as a new family, with the Duchess’ mother Doria Ragland.” The statement continued, “This decision is in line with precedent set previously by other members of the Royal Family, and has the support of Her Majesty The Queen.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex aren’t the first royals to spend time away from the rest of the family during the holidays. In 2016 Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince George and Princess Charlotte celebrated with the Middletons. The family attended a Christmas service at a church in Bucklebury, near the Duchess of Cambridge’s childhood home.

So where will Prince Harry and Markle spend their holiday? As of now, there are no details on where Archie, and his parents, will celebrate.

Pregnancy and parenting isn’t easy—even if you’re a royal. Meghan Markle recently opened up in the documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, about what mommy-ing in the spotlight is like.

Even though it might seem like the Duchess of Sussex has it all, a position that places her in the public eye comes with plenty of added pressure. In a newly released clip of the documentary from ITV, Markle gets candid about the negativity she experienced from the press during and after her pregnancy.

Talking to ITV’s Tom Bradby about her experience, Markle said, “Any woman, especially when they’re pregnant, you’re really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging. And then when you have a newborn, you know. And especially as a woman, it’s a lot.”

Markle went on to add, “So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed. It’s um, yeah. I guess, also thank you for asking because not many people have asked if I’m okay, but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”

Forget about designer duds! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s baby Archie wears H&M!

During a Wednesday morning trip to meet Archbishop Desmond Tutu in Cape Town, Markle reportedly wore a blue and white Club Monaco dress. Her little one, four-month-old Archie, also wore a blue and white ensemble—striped H&M bib overalls.

While Markle’s fab frock retails for $289 (which is practically a bargain for a celeb of royal status), young Archie’s outfit sells for the low, low price of $19.99.

According to the H&M website, the bib overalls are made from organic cotton and have an elasticized waist and hems. The item is only available online from H&M, and is currently sold out in all sizes from zero to four months.

The bday collage includes nine sentimentally sweet pics, including a shot of a baby Prince Harry with Princess Diana, one as a teen with big brother Prince William, a wedding pic and an intimate family moment at Archie’s July christening.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Celebrate One-Year Anniversary with Precious Pics

It’s back to school time, even for the royals! Princess Charlotte joined big brother Prince George at Thomas’s Battersea first day on Thursday.

The princess, who will go by Charlotte Cambridge during her school days, was greeted by the head of the lower school Helen Haslem. Like many kiddos who are starting their first day at a new school, four-year-old Charlotte was escorted by her parents. Of course, in Charlotte’s case, her parents are highly-watched members of the British royalty.

Dad and mum, otherwise known as Prince William and Kate Middleton, walked hand-in-hand with their children as royal watchers and plenty of photographers looked on.

At the drop-off Prince William was overheard, saying to Haslem, “First day—very excited,” in reference to Charlotte’s feelings. Middleton politely asked the head of school, “How are you? Did you have a nice summer?”

Along with the pics the paparazzi caught of the royals first day of school, Kensington Palace recently released official photographs of Princess Charlotte and Prince George. The brother and sister duo posed sweetly in their school uniforms—a navy skirt and cardigan for Charlotte and a matching navy sweater and short combo for George!

Jennifer Garner’s Hilarious Back-to-School Meme Is All Moms

It’s back to school time, even for the royals! For Prince William and Kate Middleton’s only daughter, Princess Charlotte, that also means a whole new school.

As the four-year-old princess moved from Willcocks Nursery School to big bro Prince George’s school, Thomas’s Battersea, there’s one thing on royal watchers’ minds. What will the young princess’s friends and teachers call her?

Reportedly, instead of using her formal royal title, Charlotte will simply go by her first name at school. When it comes to her last name, Charlotte (like her brother George) will use Cambridge.

During his own younger years, Prince William went by William Wales while in school. This followed his father’s, the Prince of Wales, title. When Prince William was given a title of his own, the Duke of Cambridge, this became the surname his children would use. That is, until they get their own titles someday.

The Perks of Being a Royal Kid: When Dad Brings Home One-of-a-Kind Presents

Prince George & Princess Charlotte Are Totes Just Like Regular Kiddos

Prince William and Duchess Kate’s oldest son, six-year-old Prince George will be rejoining his classmates at Thomas’s Battersea school next week and it sounds like he’s got a busy year ahead.

In Year 2 at school, the young prince will be studying math, English, science, history and geography, in addition to religious studies, French, computing, art/design technology, music, drama, P.E. and ballet. That’s quite the demanding schedule compared to the average American six-year-old.

“The curriculum presented in Year 2 reflects the increased ability of the children, both academically and socially,” Helen Haslem, Head of Lower School, says on the school’s website. “The children are asked to become more responsible in Year 2; this may start with the children recording their own homework in their diaries.”

His busy school day won’t end when he gets home. Prince William and Duchess Kate will have to survive the homework routine with Prince George just like the rest of us, with thirty minutes of work, including ten minutes of reading, assigned each night.

And we can’t forget the extracurriculars! A 40-minute weekly drama class, a 35-minute French lesson and a music class twice a week, where he’ll learn about the classical masters like Mozart and Beethoven, are just a few of the activities rounding out his schedule.

Prince George won’t be the only young royal headed back to class this year. His younger sister Princess Charlotte will be joining him for her first year according to PEOPLE. “She can’t wait to be with George at big school” an insider says. “She’s so excited about it all.”
