This “Friends” Advent Calendar Is Filled with over 40 Keepsakes

Disney Storybook Collection Advent Calendars Return for 2020

Skechers is stepping into the world of one of the most beloved authors of all time. The new Skechers x Dr. Seuss collection captures the fantastical stories and world-famous characters and designs from his timeless classic The Cat in the Hat

Skechers x Dr. Seuss

The first capsule launches with popular styles from Skechers Street, BOBS from Skechers and Skechers Kids. The zany characters’ influences can be seen throughout the collection’s illustrated looks, red and white stripes and character prints. Full of nostalgia and lighthearted fun, the creative shoes are sure to be a hit with fans of all ages.

Skechers x Dr. Seuss is a multi-year, worldwide footwear partnership that will bring Dr. Seuss’s vibrant world to life in wearable, comfortable designs for adults and children.

Kicking off the collection is Skechers Marley Jr. – Things Ran Up for girls and Marley Jr. – Things Ran Down for toddlers, which feature colorful illustrations of Thing 1 and Thing 2 on a comfortable slip-on sneaker complete with Dr. Seuss logo on the heel panel. Parents can also shop Skechers Street Fame – Things at Play, a perfect slip-on style for playful tots with its adjustable side hook and loop closure for stay-put fit and Thing 1 and Thing 2 character prints. Memory foam insoles in each style provide all day comfort.

“Dr. Seuss is one of the world’s biggest cultural icons—read, shared and celebrated by millions since the 1950s. And now his legendary characters and vivid designs are here to walk the walk, in the spirit of his great talk,” said Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers. “We’ve taken our most popular footwear styles and have infused them with Dr. Seuss’s one-of-a-kind designs, delivering the unique charm that only he can offer—even creating matching pairs that parents and their kids can wear together.”

Skechers x Dr. Seuss

For women, the trendiest Skechers Street silhouettes are revamped with The Cat in the Hat’s iconic prints and illustrative techniques for an artistic representation of the beloved book. Red and white stripes represent the clever Cat in Skechers Uno – Tip of His Hat sneakers and V’Lites – We Saw Him! slip-ons, while pops of Seussian blue highlight his trouble-making companions Thing 1 and Thing 2 in the Skechers Uno – Jumps and Kicks and Goldie 2.0 – Two Things styles.

“Skechers is the ultimate family brand for every age—and their broad, dedicated fanbase is a perfect fit for the millions who love Dr. Seuss around the world,” said Susan Brandt, president of Dr. Seuss Enterprises. “Their innovative spirit, vivid styling and comfortable footwear designs make stepping out in Dr. Seuss even more fun. We look forward to every chapter of this partnership, as Skechers unveils a new Dr. Seuss adventure with each new collection.”

The charity-minded BOBS from Skechers collection also gets a The Cat in the Hat makeover with Seussian styling and colorful character prints. The BOBS Plush – Good & New slip-ons and BOBS B Wilder – That is That platform sneakers mirror the books’ illustrations with their white and black uppers and red hints, while the BOBS from Skechers Beach Bingo – Things Fall & Good Trick scrunch-back slip-ons bring the book to life, showing the chaos that commences when The Cat in the Hat shows up at your door.

Skechers x Dr. Seuss

Future collections are planned with characters and designs from many of Dr. Seuss’s beloved tales, including Green Eggs and Ham, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, Oh, the Places You’ll Go! and How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

The Skechers x Dr. Seuss collection for adults and children is now available at Skechers.com and will be available in select Skechers retail stores this September in the United States, Canada and Europe, expanding to exclusive markets worldwide.

From Jack Skellington to the Grinch, there are Frappuccinos inspired by all of your favorite characters and now you can order a Baby Yoda Frappuccino. While viewers are well aware that the pint-sized green creature in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian is not in fact Yoda as a baby, the unbelievably cute character still carries the catchy name.

You can’t just step up to a Starbucks counter and ask for a Baby Yoda Frappuccino, however. As a secret menu item created by Totally the Bomb you’ll have to know exactly what to ask for in order to score this sweet concoction.

Start by ordering a matcha green tea Frappuccino. Then add a caramel drizzle to the cup (representing Yoda’s cloak). Finally top it off with whipped cream, caramel and caramel ribbon crunchies and you’ll have the perfect drink to enjoy while you watch new episodes of The Mandalorian on Disney+.
