Beginning Thur., Nov. 19, Nickmas will be packed with 21 premieres of Nickelodeon’s live-action, animation and preschool series. Get ready for season two premier of Top ElfThe All-Star Nickmas Spectacular; and all-new episodes  PAW PatrolSantiago of the SeasBlue’s Clues & You!The CasagrandesThe SubstituteAll That, and Danger Force.

When it comes to shining stars this holiday, don’t miss The All-Star Nickmas Spectacular on Sat. Nov. 28 at 9 p.m.This special event features musical performances from Ne-Yo, JoJo Siwa and That Girl Lay Lay. Other celeb appearances will include plenty of Nick stars, Jay Pharoah, Trevor Noah and Young Dylan.

In a year that’s been like no other, Nickelodeon is celebrating families in its first ever Blue’s Clues & You! “Blue Friday.” In partnership with nonprofit organization BabyBaby, Nickelodeon will make a donation to the organization to help support kids and families in need on Fri. Nov. 20.

Baby2Baby provides children aged 0 to 12 who are living in poverty with diapers, clothing and basic necessities. During the pandemic, the organization has provided over 40 million essential items to vulnerable children across the country impacted by Covid-19.

The network will also premier all-new Blue’s Clues & You! including “Blue’s Big Baking Show” on Nov. 20 and “Blue’s Night Before Christmas” on Dec. 4. Beginning Dec. 8, this episode will be available for viewing on Noggin, along with a holiday hub of 50 pieces of holiday-themed shorts, full-length episodes of hit series PAW PatrolBubble GuppiesPeppa Pig, games, play-along videos and e-books.

The new live action Mulan releases on Disney+ on Dec. 4, but if you can’t wait that long, you’re in luck. Disney has just announced that the new Premier Access option will get the movie in front of your eyes TODAY.

Premier Access is $29.99 and allows Disney+ subscribers to watch the new film before regular subscribers. You can watch Mulan as many times as you want with UHD, HDR, and Dolby Audio quality.

The one-time fee is only for this film, which likely means Disney+ will offer this for other upcoming streaming movies. Premier Access for Mulan starts Sept. 4 and runs through Nov. 2 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

You can purchase Premier Access on disneyplus.com and in the Disney+ app on platforms that include Apple, Google, Amazon and Roku. Access to Mulan will continue as long as you are an active Disney+ subscriber.

Christina Aguilera is going back to her Disney roots. Her new music video for the 2020 version of “Reflection” from the new live-action Mulan debuted today. Twenty-two years later, the notes are still big and just as amazing. 

Aguilera performs the newly-recorded “Reflection” in the music video directed by “Mulan feature director Niki Caro (The Zookeeper’s Wife, McFarland, USA).

Starting Sept. 4, with Premier Access, you can watch Mulan before it’s available to all Disney+ subscribers. Disney+ will offer Premier Access to “Mulan” for $29.99 on disneyplus.com. Once you have Premier Access to Mulan, you can watch as many times as you want on any platform where Disney+ is available. 

“Reflection (2020)” is produced by Mulan composer Harry Gregson-Williams.  The original 1998 classic was written by David Zippel and Matthew Wilder. 

Music from Reflection and the new original song Loyal Brave True are featured in Gregson-Williams’ underscore with Aguilera’s full-length versions appearing in the film’s custom main-on-end title design.  Both songs are featured in the movie and on the Walt Disney Records soundtrack, with score composed and conducted by Gregson-Williams.

We are anxiously awaiting the premiere of the new live-action Mulan. Disney+ just released the music video for the original song “Loyal Brave True” performed by Christina Aguliera. This is quite fitting as Aguliera sang the title song, “Reflection” from the original animated film. 

In addition to “Loyal Brave True,” Aguilera will also perform a newly-recorded “Reflection (2020).”  

Both songs will be featured in the film and on the Walt Disney Records soundtrack, with score composed and conducted by Harry Gregson-Williams, set for release on Sept. 4, 2020. You will be able to stream Mulan on Sept. 4 exclusively on Disney+ with Premier Access (Disney+ subscription and additional fee required).

Disney+ has announced a brand new LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special premiering on Tues., Nov. 17 that will celebrate the Wookiee holiday, Life Day. This is the first LEGO special to premier on the Disney streaming platform.

First introduced in the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special, Life Day will bring Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose and droids together for a fabulous feast.

The story will following the events of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” when Rey leaves to prepare for Life Day. While at a mysterious Jedi Temple, Rey finds herself in a cross-timeline adventure where she meets old Jedis and tries to make it back in time for the special feast.

Catch the special on Nov. 17, only on Disney+.

Can’t wait to get back to Bikini Bottom?  It was just announced that The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run will debut digitally in the US via premium video on demand in early 2021. Afterwards the move exclusively to CBS All Access, ViacomCBS’ subscription video on demand and live-streaming service.

In addition, all prior seasons of SpongeBob Squarepants will be available on the expanded service soon.

This new movie follows SpongeBob SquarePants, his best friend Patrick Star and the rest of the gang from Bikini Bottom in the first-ever all CGI SpongeBob motion picture event. After SpongeBob’s beloved pet snail Gary is snail-napped, he and Patrick embark on an epic adventure to The Lost City of Atlantic City to bring Gary home. As they navigate the delights and dangers on this perilous and hilarious rescue mission, SpongeBob and his pals prove there’s nothing stronger than the power of friendship.

Just in time for Spring Break, Walt Disney World and Disneyland have increased prices––again. In an almost annual tradition, both resorts have made changes to their single and multi-day tickets, as well as annual passes as of Feb 11, 2020.

Disneyland

The California resort increased prices on one-day and multi-day one-park and park hopper tickets and added additional tiers for the 1-day option. If you aren’t familiar with this feature, Disneyland offers different-priced tickets based on busy days, where you can save money by visiting on a less crowded day.

There are now five tiers (up from three) with prices ranging from $98 to $156 for one day. Two to five-day tickets now range from $220 to $560 with no tier options.

Park Hopper tickets also range from one to five-day options with tiers for single day tickets. Prices range from $153 to $209 for one-day tickets, with two to five day tickets ranging from $275 to $415.

Annual Passport prices have also increased and none of the passes offer a renewal discount like they have in years past.

  • Southern California Select Annual Passport ($419)
  • Southern California Annual Passport ($649, this passport is currently only available for renewal; new ones cannot be purchased.)
  • Flex Annual Passport ($649)
  • Deluxe Annual Passport ($829)
  • Signature Passport ($1,199)
  • Signature Plus Passport ($1,449)
  • Premier Passport ($2,270.47)

Walt Disney World

The Florida resort has increased the prices of all one-day and multi-day tickets, annual passes and add-on options. Additionally, there is now a new Water Park & Sports ticket, which allows guests to add water park visits and other sports options to base tickets for a flat fee of $74.55

Base tickets, or one park per day tickets, range in price depending on the busy season. Prices now range all the way from $110.76 (children) to $169.34 (adults) for one day, up to $703.65 for 10-day tickets.

Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus tickets are also available in one-day and multi-day tickets up to 10 days. These prices range from $179.99 to $259.86 for one-day tickets, all the way to $620.47 to $815.47 for ten-day tickets.

Walt Disney World offers several annual pass options, many of which include renewal discounts.

  • Platinum Pass
    • First time Platinum Pass: $1,272.68
    • Renewal Platinum Pass: $1,080.98
  • Platinum Plus Pass
    • First time Platinum Plus Pass: $1,379.18
    • Renewal Platinum Plus Pass: $1,171.50
