Starbucks is celebrating Earth Month with new can’t-miss merch that’s good for you and good for the planet!

The beloved brand announced its commitment to become a resource0positive company earlier this year. Now with Earth Month on the horizon, Sbucks is adding a new line of reusable merchandise to help customers reduce and eliminate waste.

As part of the Planet Positive Initiative, Starbucks has made a multi-decade commitment to reducing its waste, water and carbon footprints by 50 percent by the year 2030. This April the company will highlight the initiative with an Earth Month Game for loyalty members, the Starbucks Odyssey Blend Coffee, Starbucks Earth Day To-Go Hot and Cold Cups and the reusable Siren Waves Tote Bag.

The new Earth Day To-Go Hot Cup comes in a 16-ounce size and the To-Go Cold Cup is available in a 24-ounce option. These tonal mint green cups let you reduce waste in a super-stylish way.

Along with the reusable to-go cups, Starbucks is also debuting a mint green Siren Waves Tote. Not only does the bag help to eliminate the paper and plastic waste generated from disposable options, but it’s also made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled PET.

The new merch doesn’t end with the to-go cups and the tote bag. You can also nab a 16-ounce Mint Green Plastic Tumbler, 12-ounce Stainless Steel Tumbler with a Recycled Plastic Lid, 100 percent post-consumer recycled glass Clear Water Bottle and 16-ounce Recycled Glass Cold Cup.

Head to your local Starbucks to grab this limited edition collection before its gone.

Starbucks New Espresso Drinks Are Shaken, Not Stirred

Got Your Hands Full? These PopSockets Were Clearly Made for Busy Moms

Dunkin’ Turned Your Fave Iced Coffee Flavors Into Jelly Beans & Here’s Where to Find Them

Spring has sprung at Starbucks. The beloved brand recently announced its new spring menu—and now you can get a plant-based Shaken Espresso!

If you’re already a fan of Starbucks signature Shaken Iced Tea or Coffee, you’re in for a treat. On Mar. 2, the coffee retailer will debut an espresso Shaken option. Actually, Sbucks will debut two different Shaken Espresso menu items: The Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and an Iced Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso.

Why switch from your traditional espresso drink to shaken version? Of the Shaken Espresso option, Alicia Binion, senior product developer on Starbucks beverage development team, said in a press release, “The fun thing about shaking is it adds another dimension to the beverage.” Binion added, “It creates a rich texture on your palate—by just adding air. When you take that first sip, you get a wonderful froth that is infused with flavor.”

The Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso starts with a Starbucks Blonde espresso. The espresso is shaken together with brown sugar and cinnamon before it’s topped with oatmilk and ice. Binion described this drink, saying, “The delicate sweetness and the depth from the brown sugar pairs really well with the cinnamon and the Starbucks Blonde Espresso.”

Starbucks’ Iced Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso also features Blonde espresso—and includes cocoa, malt, almondmilk and ice. Binion noted, “It’s fun with a little bit of familiarity at the same time.”

Along with the two new flavored drinks, Sbucks fans can also try an Iced Shaken Espresso. This option combines a full-bodied espresso with two-percent milk.

I’ve almost forgotten what the real world feels like. I’ve almost forgotten what it was like before masks were added to the mental checklist of things I needed to make sure my kids had before they left the house each day.

I’ve almost forgotten what it was like to have my kids leave the house at all.

I’ve almost forgotten what it felt like to sit in my car before work, sipping a freshly made drink from Starbucks while listening to the radio. I’d almost forgotten what it was like to leave my house for work at all. I’ve almost forgotten what it felt like to board an airplane with my husband on our way to an annual vacation alone in the sun, knowing my babies were safe at home with their grandmother or aunt and without worrying that they could get each other sick.

I’ve almost forgotten what it felt like to be alone with my husband at all. I’ve almost forgotten what it felt like to plan an impromptu night at my house with some friends, without having to worry about exposing each other or breaking a new rule about crowd sizes. I’ve almost forgotten what it felt like to see friends, colleagues, acquaintances, or strangers on a regular basis at all.

I’ve almost forgotten what it felt like to dance the night away at a fundraiser or wedding. I’ve almost forgotten what it felt like to celebrate anything at all.   I’ve almost forgotten what it’s like to step foot inside my children’s schools for parent-teacher conferences or fundraisers or Saturday morning junior basketball games. I’ve almost forgotten what it’s like to feel connected to my children’s schools or sports at all. I’ve almost forgotten what it’s like to sit in the stands for hours at youth sports games, sharing a box of extra toasted Cheez-Its with other parents.

I’ve almost forgotten what it’s like to feel that alive and in the moment at all. I’ve almost forgotten what the real world feels like…but I’m holding onto hope that I’ll see it again soon. I will drive to work again and walk on tropical beaches with my husband again and dance at weddings again and sit in crowded stands with other parents sharing Cheez-Its again. And when I do all those things again, I’m going to appreciate them like never before.
