Just when you thought Gangnam Style was beginning to die off, another equally viral dance video crazy is sweeping the internet, this time in the form of crazy shaking. We’re talking about the Harlem Shake, and unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you know all about this internet video fad that’s struck just about everyone from corporate offices to SeaWorld Animals. The videos all start off with a single dancer wearing a headpiece (a helmet, mask, funny hat, whatever you have on hand, really) and when the beat drops, a bunch of people dance like mad for about 15 seconds. With all this hype it was only a matter of time before kids wanted to get in on the action. That’s why we’ve rounded up some choice Harlem Shake videos that feature some very excitable kids showcasing their very best crazy dance skills. Eat your heart out, Psy.

1. Harlem Shake-kwondo
Taekwondo. Discipline. Focus. Dancing. Well it sure takes a lot of practice to get those moves down in the first 15 seconds of the video…the second half, we’re not so sure. While their dance moves might not earn them any points in a match, they sure do earn major style points in our book.

2. Father-Son Shake
We love when parents don’t take themselves seriously, especially when it comes to acting silly with their kids. This father-son duo is a perfect example of a dad who’s not afraid to show both his serious side and his crazy side. You can see the joy in his son’s face when they get to dance around in their costumes in the living room. Just check out the dog in the corner giving these two that “What are you people doing?” look. One thing’s for sure: no matter what the age, boys will be boys.

3. The Honda Shake
And then there are the parents that act a little too silly, as is the case in this video, where the little guy dancing in the front seat doesn’t quite know how to react to the crazy adults dancing next to him. He gets over it quickly enough, and the dance party continues, complete with styrofoam peanut confetti.

4. Harlem Shake: Family Edition
Who said that dads and kids get to have all the fun? Here’s one mama who’s holding it down for the ladies, starting off this Harlem Shake video with her own super cool dance moves, right before she trips over the beanbag chair in the middle of the room (been there, done that). Luckily, the beat drops and the living room is transformed into a colorful mess of toys. By the looks of it, the parents are having way more fun than the kiddos…perhaps a little too much fun. Hilarious nonetheless.

5. The Harlem Skate
There’s just something funny about watching kids try and dance while keep their balance on roller skates. Just watch as the kid in the gray shirt gets more and more into his dancing before he starts that all-too-familiar arm-flailing attempt to keep from falling over. We dare you not to laugh when he starts to take a tumble. He’s not alone however, as he’s joined by a mess of stumbling kids who have a harder time staying upright than a drunk college student.

6. Harlem Shake Son
Talk about stealing the show. This kid has got some moves, and we mean it! Just check out his outfit. And that wink to the camera? C’mon. With his female dance partners holding down the couch-stages behind him, this little guy could very well be the next dance sensation of the internet. Or at least his household.

Bring on the peanuts and Cracker Jack; baseball season is in full swing and for small sluggers it’s the most wonderful time of the year (sorry, Santa!). If your little leaguer can’t go to every game (who can?) or even see them on TV (grrrrr), we’ve struck upon loads of ways to get into the spirit of LA baseball. From Friday night fireworks to baseball inspired treats there is plenty in our great city to keep everyone entertained past the 7th inning stretch.

Root for the *Other* Home Team

While Dodgers Stadium may seem like the obvious choice to watch a baseball game there are other options. The Quakes are the beloved Dodgers farm team and play at Loan Mart Stadium in Rancho Cucamonga. Here you can watch big league hopefuls and recovering pros up close (along with the entertaining Quakes mascot, Tremor the Rallysaurus). There truly isn’t a bad seat in the house in this stadium and you can enjoy sitting just behind home plate without breaking the bank. Tickets range from $9-13. The stadium even has a fun zone where your antsy baseball fans can get out some wiggles. The kids can jump in a bounce house, hit off of a tee or practice their pitching skills and you can still enjoy the game while supervising.

You can do it, Rancho Cucamonga really isn’t that far!

Name of Product: Sorelle brand “Prescott” fixed-sided cribs

Retailer/Distributor: Albee Baby, of East Rutherford, N.J.

Manufacturer: Simplicity Inc. (firm is no longer in business)

Hazard: These cribs are re-labeled fixed-sided Simplicity cribs that contain tubular metal mattress-support frames recalled in April 2010. The mattress support frames can bend or detach, causing part of the mattress to drop, creating a space into which an infant or toddler can roll and become wedged, entrapped or fall out of the crib.

Incidents/Injuries: In the April 2010 Simplicity recall, CPSC reported the death of a one-year-old child from Attleboro, Mass. who suffocated when he became entrapped between the crib mattress and the crib frame. In addition, CPSC has received reports of 29 incidents involving the Simplicity cribs where the cribs collapsed due to the metal mattress support frame detaching or bending. These include one child entrapment that did not result in injury and one child who suffered minor cuts when his head struck the broken mattress support bar. CPSC has received one report of a consumer who, in April of 2010, removed the Sorelle Prescott label from the crib and found a Simplicity crib label underneath. (The consumer purchased the crib in July of 2009, prior to the Simplicity mattress support recall.)

Description: These are full-sized fixed-sided cribs sold in an oak finish, as 3-in-1 or 4-in-1 convertible cribs. “Sorelle Furniture” along with the company’s address, the crib’s model number and a manufacturer’s code are printed on a label attached to the headboard or footboard.

Sold at: This recall is limited to Sorelle “Prescott” cribs sold online by AlbeeBaby.com between July 2009 and October 2009 for between $180 and $210.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled cribs and contact Albee Baby for a replacement crib, store credit or refund. C&T International/Albee Baby is attempting to directly contact known consumers who purchased the recalled crib online from July 2009 through October 2009. In the meantime, find an alternate, age appropriate, safe sleeping environment for the child, such as a bassinet, play yard or toddler bed.

Consumer Contact: For additional information, contact Albee Baby toll-free at (877) 692-5233 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or visit the firm’s website at http://www.albeebaby.com
