One of the best things about living in Denver is that there’s no shortage of amazing hikes all over town. Our friends at AllTrails shared their favorite stroller-friendly hikes around Denver and they are perfect for days when you need to get everyone out of the house PRONTO. These hikes offer flat trails and many of them are paved making them perfect for strollers and even tiny bike riders. We know you’ll love them too!

1. Sloan's Lake Loop

Sloan's Lake Loop is a heavily trafficked loop trail located near Wheat Ridge, Colorado that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, bird watching, and road biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Distance: 2.6 miles
Difficulty: Easy

2. Berkeley Lake Park Loop

Berkeley Lake Park Loop is a moderately trafficked loop trail located near Wheat Ridge, Colorado that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. The trail surface is paved concrete and typically at least four feet wide. The estimated grade is gentle (all 3% or less) so will likely be traversable for most wheelchairs/mobility equipment or strollers.

Trader Joe’s Brand Gluten Free Battered Halibut Recalled Due to Undeclared Allergens

Check your freezers. Orca Bay Foods is recalling 4,450 pounds of Trader Joe’s brand Gluten Free Battered Halibut because it contains undeclared wheat and milk allergens. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat and milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

Product was sold in Trader Joe’s stores in Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, and Wisconsin.

Trader Joe’s brand Gluten Free Battered Halibut SKU 00503822 product is packed in 10 oz retail carton boxes. Recalled boxes are marked “537312620 Best If Used By Nov 5, 2021” on the box end.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

Consumers who have purchased are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 1-800-932-ORCA, Mon.-Fri., 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. PT.
