Just in time for back-to-school, Justice is launching its “We Are Justice” campaign focused on inclusivity, diversity and confidence. And to kick things off, Justice is hosting fashion shows at all of its 860+ stores giving every girl the chance to shine as they walk the runway in a back-to-school outfit that will make them feel great.

On Sept. 22, join other Seattle families for a concert with Annette Taborn, the woman responsible for making blues accessible to students in public schools all over the PNW with her program “Blues In Schools.” A blues artist from Kalamazoo, MI, Annette started out as an established singer and harmonica player and then later moved to Seattle to continue sharing and spreading her love of blues.

Bubble Works is back and bubblier than ever! Join Wonder Works as they explore the wonderful world of bubbles with various stations around the museum! You’ll also go outside for giant bubbles, bubble windows and bubble blowing.

Inspired by the night sky and beyond, Montalvo Arts Center presents “Starry, Starry Night,” a nighttime summer arts event for the whole family. Activities include a telescope viewing of the Perseid Meteor showers, art making, glow-in-the-dark games, a galactic themed selfie station, night hiking, participatory dancing, live performances, and a family-friendly outdoor movie. Guests will also have the option to conclude the evening by setting up their tents and camping out under the stars on Montalvo’s Great Lawn. The following morning, overnight campers will awaken to a pancake breakfast on the front veranda of the historic Villa.

Angela Garbacz of Goldenrod Bakery will lead a hands-on cookie decorating workshop that will teach your budding bakers the essentials of creative dessert making. Learn how to roll the perfect cookie, make a DIY-piping bag, and explore the benefits (and fun!) of alternative cookie ingredients.
