Big Bear’s Outdoor Adventure Days is an Ecotourism Festival that enables visitors to explore Big Bear’s natural environment and introduce them to ecological stewardship. Activities on this day may include: Discovery Center activities

The Northwest Railway Museum is paying tribute to America’s workers this Labor Day with a special weekday train run of the Museum’s antique train. This is in addition to the railroad’s usual weekend train schedule.
The Northwest Railway Museum offers scenic train excursions through the Cascade foothills of the Upper Snoqualmie Valley, including a ride past the top of Snoqualmie Falls and a splendid view of the valley below. Train rides include a stop at the Train Shed Exhibit building, too.

The Hoedown is Zenger Farm’s summer celebration and fundraiser for the 24-acre nonprofit urban farm. The Hoedown brings guests together to eat, dance, drink and play, all while helping raise funds for Zenger Farm to promote access to good food for all.
This event features live performances from family band Ants Ants Ants and songwriter Matt Dorrien, in addition to family performer Mo Phillips, and indie-folk duo Wonderly; a picnic supper from New Seasons Market; handcranked Salt & Straw ice cream and farm games and kids’ activities.
