The Caribbean Drum Circle is designed for kids and adults alike to explore music as a language through interactive experiences using percussion instruments (Tamboo-Bamboo, Hand Drums, Steel Drums, Shakers, Cowbells), call and response, Indian speaking syllables and movement.

Every Thurs., Union Station’s South Patio will be transformed into a bustling marketplace showcasing a diverse selection of SoCal’s farmers, artisans, crafters and culinary creations.
The new Train-to-Table Farmers Market will serve as an idyllic location for lunchtime small bites and drop-in shopping in the heart of the iconic downtown landmark. The expansive South Patio, featuring towering palm trees and an iconic 100-foot-tall clock tower, has evolved into a vibrant meeting place for Angelenos.
Visitors of all ages develop their engineering skills as they engage in open block play with Imagination Playground blocks outside in the Plaza of Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Head inside and cool off with these drop-in art projects and play opportunities. Activities invite young artists to build fine motor skills, explore art making materials, and learn how to make new friends in a communal play space.

For 23 years, the Celebrate Damascus Festival has delighted residents from across Montgomery County. This year, Old Line Bank is proud to return for the second straight year. The Family Carnival will provide fun for kids of all ages, including a moon bounce, face painting, free drinks and hot dogs, DJ booth, balloon animals, games with prizes, and more. All proceeds from the event will support the Damascus Volunteer Fire Department.
This summer, you and your kid crew can sail-in to the Friday night outdoor movies at the Port of Everett’s North Guest Docks 6 & 7 (first come, first served) or watch by land at Boxcar Park. Come early to grab a good seat and get a bag of popcorn courtesy of the Port of Everett. Movie concession items will also be available for a fee. And as a bonus, Mom and Dad can can enjoy the movie with an adult beverage at the Bluewater Distilling ‘Voyaging Bar’ hosted by and in benefit of local non-profit groups Cocoon House and Housing Hope.
Good to know: In the event of rain or extreme weather, the movie will be cancelled. Cancellations will be posted on the Port of Everett’s website as well as its Facebook and Twitter pages. If you are watching by boat, you can listen with the sound system or tune into a radio frequency on your boat (to be provided at the start of the movie).
