Everyone’s favorite duke has turned into everyone’s favorite voice. Regé Jean Page caught all our attention as the Duke of Hastings in Netflix & Shonda Rhimes’ hit, BridgertonHe’s since gone on to lend his voice to projects — and if you’ve listened to him for even one minute, you’ll understand why. This guy could read a list of ingredients and it would be captivating enough to listen.

Netflix has tapped Page as the narrator for their new documentary that premiered this week, Surviving Paradise. Here’s a little glimpse — or sound — of what you and your family have in store for Netflix’s latest project.

From Netflix:

Surviving Paradise explores the Okavango Delta, a vast oasis, isolated from the rest of the world by unforgiving desert. It’s also a refuge, built and maintained daily by its inhabitants; in return, it caters for their every need. Big cats may appear to reign here, but in reality, the fate of every creature, great and small, is intertwined. This film explores the blueprints for building the perfect world, managing it sustainably, and maintaining it – despite extremes of drought, famine, and flood. Most crucially, it spotlights those passing the secret formula on to their descendants, who will find it harder than ever before to keep their Eden intact.

This isn’t the first project to which Page has lent his incredible voice. He recorded a sleep story for the Calm App, and also read a bedtime story for British children’s TV network CBeebies.

If you somehow missed Bridgerton, here’s two minutes of the Duke of Hastings being charming. It will sell you on listening to a nature documentary, bedtime story, meditation, or anything else this man wants to talk about — forever.
