Whether it’s Sylvester and Sylvia the mummies or Black Bart the one-armed bandit, Ye Olde Curiosity Shop lives up to its name – it's definitely old (opened in 1899 and still run by the same family) and there are lots of unusual and creepy things to pique everyone’s curiosity. Fleas in dresses, a four-legged hen and Chief Seattle's Hat - as the store promises, it's got "1001 Curious Things." Theodore Roosevelt, Charlie Chaplin and Katherine Hepburn signed the guest book of this waterfront institution - you should too!
Take Notice: Kids love the Mexican Jumping Beans. You can find them at the checkout counter closest to the front door.
Good to Know: Check their website before taking really young ones. While some kids find mummies and shrunken heads cool from an early age, Ye Olde Curiosity Shop may not be appropriate for all.
