The summer reading programs may have ended, but that’s no excuse to stop visiting your local library! Get ready to dive back into books with your kids. The whole family can curl up and enjoy story time together for free at these San Diego libraries. Kids don’t have to be school-age to enjoy reading, either. Click through the slideshow to check out these spots that have a variety of programs for kids of all ages, infant to teen!

Vista Public Library

The Vista Public Library regularly holds a variety of classes geared toward kids and adults. Their regularly held storytime is encourages a lot of parent interaction, and helps them learn how to continue to encourage development at home as well.

For infants: Vista Library has Baby Storytime every Monday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Babies are encouraged to explore books and listen to stories and books that focus on cognitive development. Bright pictures and simple, fun songs are included to help develop baby’s senses.
