That hot summer sun has you reaching for the sprinkler. But before you can turn the hose on, your water babies are begging to hit the sprayground. Because even the coolest sprinklers can’t compete with the cannons, dump buckets and spray nozzles they’ll find there. Wanna know what other awesome splash pads features are out there? Adams Park Playground – Chicago, Il

While other Chicagoland spray pads have sprinklers a plenty, Adams Park is a veritable water park with a mini slide and pipes springing “leaks” to keep your cutie crew cool on a warm day. The waterfalls are gentle enough for babies, but are intriguing enough to keep your older kiddos interested too. Just beyond the fenced-in splash area is a playground and generously sized sandbox filled with toys, making it a three-fer worth the trip. Plus, the tricked out field house is one of the nicer ones; take advantage of it for potty breaks and swimsuit costume changes before heading home.
