At more than 500 theaters nationwide, fans young and old will be able to see Judy Garland skip down the yellow brick road on the big screen. The screenings will take place across the country on Sunday, Jan. 27, Tuesday, Jan. 29 and Wednesday, Jan. 30. Check the Fathom Events site to find out which theaters closest to you will be hosting the event and to buy tickets.
The Wizard of Oz will actually be the first in a series of Turner Classic Movies to be re-released in the same manner throughout 2019. Other back-to-theater re-release titles include Field of Dreams, My Fair Lady, Hello Dolly! and The Shawshank Redemption, among others in this limited Big Screen Classics series.
