Trick-or-Treating at the Oogie Boogie Bash
Kids will delight in trick-or-treating for loads of countless candy goodies throughout multiple treat trails. (We loved that many stations handed out healthier treats including apple sauce squeezies and cranberries). In addition to collecting treats, they’ll come face to face with an array of showstopping villains including the magnificent Maleficent who talks to guests as they dare to cross her path. You’ll also encounter other naughty favorites like the Mad Hatter and even Oogie Boogie himself on your journey.

Don’t miss the Villains Grove––a real sight to behold! This trail is transformed into an otherworldly lair of Disney villains that unfolds in a series of scenes to create a hauntingly beautiful dream-space of color, sound, light and shadow. A candlelit trail, a waterfall of cascading colors, ravens casting shadows overhead, visions of twisted roses from the Queen of Hearts’ garden, Scar’s Elephant Graveyard filled with hyenas’ laughter, the Queen’s lightning forest, and more frights and delights than you can wave a broomstick at await.

DescenDANCE
Your favorite villain kids are having a dance party all their own in the backlot area of Hollywood Land. Your little ones will revel in dancing along to the fist-pumping greatest hits from the films that summon the Greatest Dance Crew from the Isle of the Lost.

Beyond the Oogie Boogie Bash––Halloween Thrills for Everyone

The Halloween-inspired thrills and chills extend way beyond the Oogie Boogie Bash. Don’t miss all the additional seasonal fun at the Parks.

Halloween Screams Fireworks Show
Back for the first time in almost a decade, all guests visiting Disneyland Park on select nights during the Halloween season, will relish the chance to see the supernatural projection and special effects show “Halloween Screams.” This nighttime spectacular hosted by “Master of Scare-omonies” Jack Skellington features soaring flames, projections of rising ghosts and classic Disney villains like Maleficent and Ursula the Sea Witch—all set to a medley of Halloween-inspired songs. The ten-minute production shows the sky’s no limit with the awe-inspiring fireworks that cap it off.

The Haunted Mansion’s 50th Anniversary
Head to the Haunted Mansion to celebrate its 50th anniversary! The spooky abode has had an extreme makeover, transformed into its annual holiday theme the Haunted Mansion Holiday inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Halloween and Christmas collide as Jack Skellington offers his own spin on the holiday season.

Stay alert while riding this attraction because you’ll want to feast your eyes on the 10-foot tall gingerbread house built to commemorate the Mansion’s 50th year. It sits on the dining table in the Grand Hall, and you’ll know it’s around the corner as the scent of enticing gingerbread fills the air. See if you can spy the 15 spirited Haunted Mansion residents made of gingerbread cookies surrounding the sweet home.

Halloween Food & Drinks
You can literally eat your way through both Parks and still barely scratch the surface on the delicious, over-the-top Halloween goodies on offer. Some of our faves include: the Churro Sundae, towering with chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, caramel sauce and cookie butter drizzle and topped with two cinnamon-dusted sugared churros. The almost-too-cute-to-eat shortbread Mickey Bat cookie and the Cauldron Cake Pop complete with popping rocks candy make the perfect tasting for tots. A parade of Halloween-themed churro flavors from pumpkin spice to coco, as well as beautifully decorated candied and caramel apples ranging from Jack Skellington to the Evil Queen are delicious to eat as you stroll the Parks. Wash these treats down with some Green Apple Spell lemonade or some Frog’s Breath! The Mickey Pumpkin Balloon Bucket filled with popcorn is also a great treat to walk around with at the Park and to take home as a souvenir.

Meet and Greet Villains and Disney Characters in Costume
Snap priceless photographs and interact with Disney villains as well as beloved characters like Mickey and Minnie decked out in grand costumes. During our stroll with Cruella de Vil, she told us her jacket was made from a Matterhorn yeti! The villains love to interact and converse with guests at the Parks, making memories that last a lifetime for your kiddo.

Let the good times keep rolling at Cars Land, where Radiator Springs has turned into Radiator Screams for Halloween thanks to an extreme Haul-O-Ween makeover. Race to Cars Land without a screech for clever Halloween decor such as a pumpkin patch full of gourd-shaped gasoline tanks, seasonal twists on the rides, and the Cars themselves in costume––Cruz Ramirez makes a perfect pirate, Mater is decked out as Dracula, Red is a colorful clown and Lightning McQueen is a superhero, of course.
