“Jason, why didn’t Jason bring jeans for Jason?”

When men leave the house, they have a little internal checklist they do to make sure they’re all set: phone, wallet, keys. You want to know what that checklist looks like for women? Phone, wallet, keys, purse, wipes, water, kids, kids’ phones, kids’ snacks, homework, bills, need new tires, better stop for gas, need air in tires too, should I get a car wash? What time will I be back? Should I let the dog out? What should I make for dinner? I should have pulled something out…” That’s why people are loving Travis Kelce calling out his brother for relying on his wife to bring him a pair of pants when he could have, you know, brought himself his own pants.

During the brothers’ podcast, they had a hilarious exchange when talking about their red (well, green) carpet ‘fits for the Kelce documentary premiere. Whereas Travis arrived in a shirt custom-made from Chanel scarves, Cartier sunglasses, and white calfskin boots by Alessandro Vasini, Jason posted up in a black T-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops. And wouldn’t you know it—Jason tried to place the blame for his fashion faux pas on his wife, Kylie.

“I was going to have jeans on, but Kylie was running late. I came straight from football, Kylie was going to bring the jeans. Kylie was late,” he said.

Travis immediately called him out, saying, “Jason, why didn’t Jason bring jeans for Jason?” He also pointed out that Jason and Kylie share three daughters, and maybe Kylie was busy putting jeans on them.

Thankfully, Jason quickly admitted that this was not his wife’s fault, saying, “She was too busy getting the entire family situated with the babysitter and then getting herself ready and making sure her parents were with her.” Exactly.

In the comments, people loved seeing Travis stick up for Kylie.

“Travis understanding and explaining the mental load is my favorite part of this!!!” one commenter wrote. Another added, “🤣🤣 difference between a single man and married one. ‘Why didn’t Jason bring jeans for Jason’ 🤣🤣🤣. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻”

And that’s that on that.
