Get ready for a new children’s book by the Bush sisters! Jenna Bush Hager, former first daughter, current co-anchor and mama to two, recently announced the book on TODAY earlier in the week.
The children’s book, Sisters First, is the brainchild of both Jenna and her twin sis, Barbara Pierce Bush. The 37-year-old twins have plenty of sibling subject matter to choose from for this sister-themed children’s book.
According to TODAY, the book tells the tale of a little girl and her wish to have a baby sister. The story then follows what happens when the girl’s wish is granted, following the days of play between the two siblings.
If the title of the Bush twins’ new book sounds familiar, that’s because it is. Their best-selling memoir that they wrote together, Sisters First: Stories from Our Wild and Wonderful Life, focuses on what life was like growing up as America’s first daughters. Bush Hager also co-wrote a pair of children’s books with her mother, former FLOTUS, school teacher and librarian Laura Bush.
The Sisters First children’s book will be released this October; you can pre-order it on Amazon today for $18.99.
