They are so cute, it’s spooky. Babies being cared for in the neonatal intensive care unit at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare are getting decked out for Halloween. Staff members created adorable pint-sized costumes just for them.
The hospital published images of the babies in their custom Halloween costumes to their Facebook page.
The caption read, “Halloween in the NICU is one of our favorite traditions, and this year is no exception! Thank you to our incredible NICU team for making such an uncertain time so special for these little ones’ families.”
The little ones are celebrating their first Halloween dressed up as popcorn, sushi, candy bars and even an avocado.
A spokesperson for Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare said, “Having a baby in the NICU can be very stressful for new moms and families, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bringing the Halloween fun to these little ones and their parents is just one of the many ways our team works to normalize the NICU environment and keep families’ spirits high. Our crafty NICU night team created the costumes and our day team helped bring their visions to life.”
