Leprechaun* Pasta

Make fun St. Patty’s day food, without dyeing your fingers green:
Simply toss a bit of pesto sauce into your child’s favorite pasta. Buy it from the store or make it at home.

Blend 2-3 cups fresh basil, ½ cup extra virgin olive oil, 1/3 cup pine nuts and 2 garlic cloves (minced) in the food processor until it forms a paste. Stop and scrape it back down the sides, as needed.

Then add ½ cup Romano cheese, salt & pepper to taste and blend until smooth. Yum!

*Despite the name, no tiny men were harmed in the making of this recipe
