Have one of those large exercise balls laying around? Try using it for a minute or two (or longer if they love it) of play time each day.
While keeping a firm grasp on your little one, lay them on the ball for a different point of view. The more horizontal they are, the more challenging it will be for baby.
You can even incorporate singing and rolling the ball slowly to the rhythm of the song.
