Trying to boost supply or fill baby up faster?

Even if you’re an experienced breast feeding mom, you might not know about the benefits of using ‘breast compressions’ during feeding or pumping.
The technique – where mom applies gentle pressure to her breast – can be used to encourage baby to actively suck during feeding and increase the fat content of milk.

That can be especially helpful if baby tends to fall asleep frequently at the breast or for ‘tanking’ baby up on milk before bedtime!

Breast compressions can also be used to increase milk flow and supply for pumping moms.

Before you get started, be sure to discuss whether this method is right for your family with your lactation consultant or pediatrician. ☺
