All in the Family Band: DIY Musical Instruments for Baby

It’s a fact: babies love music. Even if you can’t carry a tune in a bucket, they’ll love rocking out with you. Make your jam sessions more fun with the help of these seven musical instruments, all easy to DIY with things found around the house.

Raindrops on Roses

Baby will love the soothing sounds of a DIY rainstick and experimenting with tipping, rolling and shaking it herself. Raid the recycling bin for a cardboard mailer tube (a paper towel roll with thoroughly taped over ends would also work). The outside is a blank canvas for you or your little ones to help you decorate with stickers, washi tape, or crayons.
